“At Metta Health Institute we focus on holistic and functional medicine to identify the true underlying cause of chronic illness and create personalized, patient-centered care by reconnecting the body, mind and spirit.”

We use functional lab testing, muscle testing, and targeted supplementation in combination with diet and lifestyle modifications to support our patients to achieve their highest goals. We believe that the true path to a sustainable and healthy life is through educating our patients on being mindful of how to eat, sleep, exercise and de-stress that is right for them. 

Our lives have become increasingly more stressful, and our environment more toxic. Chemicals and ultra-processed foods have taken their toll on our health and the health of our planet. Our goal is for people to learn to slow down, become mindful, and reconnect with themselves and the planet through self-care practices. We believe in the principle of prevention and helping the body heal from disease rather than trying to manage it through lifelong medications.

This is bottom line for Metta as we focus heavily on making sure we are impeccable with our words and only say what we truly mean. Our word is the only thing we really have in life to offer others.


Self-expression

We want everyone to be comfortable with being authentically who they are with all the beautiful quirks and characteristics that make them who they are. We are unique beings and need to embrace the differences in each other.

Personal Empowerment

Everyone needs to understand their personal superpowers and take full advantage of them to grow exponentially in their life. We encourage people to live the life THEY WANT to live, not the life they feel like they HAVE TO live.

Sustainability

Mother earth has been providing us with incredible resources to grow as human beings and we need to show her the same respect and love. We cannot continue to consume and produce without making sure we are leaving the smallest possible footprint. We all live on this beautiful earth together and we therefore encourage everyone to make conscious choices in their lives for a more sustainable future.

Service in Community

Tony Robbins said it best: "The secret to living is giving". The more we can give back to our communities, the more we all thrive together. Now more than ever we are seeing how community is the essence of life. We are so much more powerful in numbers and can have a significant impact for change when we come together for the betterment of people and planet. Giving can have many different forms. For some it may be financially, for others it may be with their time or services.

One of the reasons we chose the name "Metta" was because of its meaning of "love and kindness". We encourage people to approach everything in life (including ourselves) first and foremost with love and kindness. You will be amazed how much your life and the community you are part of changes with this simple attitude.

Personal Responsibility

The best gift we can give ourselves is the understanding that WE are in charge of our lives and are not subject to our environment and circumstances. This is not to say that everyone has the same opportunities. How we look at the world, however is entirely up to us. We can either chose to go through life constantly REACTING to what is happening around us based on subconscious beliefs or we can decide to become aware of these subconscious beliefs and chose to take a moment and RESPOND to what is happening.

The difference is we either simply go through the motions of life or we actively choose to live the life we want.

Intentionality

The dictionary defines this as "the act of being deliberate." Living life with intention is what allows us to create the life we want and brings more meaning to what we are actually doing. If we can set an intention for what we want in life we can design our life accordingly. Intention also tells our brain what is important to us and what to look for and focus on in life. If we do not set an intention, we once again become victim to our environment and circumstances.
