Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Dan Hartmann, DC, CFMP

After several years in the corporate world and some life changing events Dr. Hartmann realized that his passion was deeply rooted in health and uncovering the true underlying cause of people’s health challenges. He therefore decided to go back to school and attended Parker University to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. While going through chiropractic school, Dr. Hartmann quickly realized that the key to living a healthy and purpose driven life was to address the body, mind and spirit, as one will always impact the other. This is why he founded Metta Health Institute.

Dr. Hartmann is a board-certified chiropractic clinician and certified functional medicine practitioner. He attended thousands of hours of clinical nutrition and functional medicine fellowships and received his certification in functional medicine through the Functional Medicine University.

In addition, Dr. Hartmann continued his extensive postdoctoral training in mastering functional blood chemistry, mastering thyroid, mastering brain chemistry and studied under industry leading experts in Lyme disease, parasitology and mold toxicity to grow his skills in helping his patients eliminate the root cause of their health concerns.

He spent the first 15 years of his life growing up in the German alps, going hiking, skiing, biking and shoveling a lot of snow. After moving to Texas in 2001, he attended the University of Dallas for his undergraduate degree in economics. He loves to read, learn, hike/camp, exercise and spend time with his family and friends.

Dr. Hartmann believes that the best investment we can make in life is in ourselves (physically, mentally and spiritually) and in our relationships with other people and our planet.
